July started with a farm walk for 22 people. This was followed by a high tea on the lawn in front of the Hall. Everyone enjoyed looking at the sheep and cattle. A lovely sunny day and a good time was had by all. More fat lambs were sold. Barley is starting to turn and the sugar beet is starting to move forwards.
The first of the Red Poll heifers went to the new farm at Hill House.
Silage making took place a poorer yield than normal.
