Gabot is a large character seven bedroom French farmhouse with secure outside pool set in two and a half acres, surrounded by undulating countryside. There are three bedrooms with king size beds, two single bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with four single beds.
A large farmhouse kitchen leads onto a fabulous terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. The perfect place to sit with a glass of French wine or to enjoy a leisurely lunch. It is very private.

The Area
Located half a mile from the town of Bourlens and a couple of miles from the medieval town of Tournon-dʼAgenais, in the Bergerac area of the Dordogne in France, the whole area is full of charm and character, with plenty to see and do. As well as beautiful medieval towns, there are fantastic French markets, vineyards, canoeing and water sports available.
The Bergerac region is primarily known for wine and tobacco. It has 12 recognized wine AOCs (Appellations d’origine contrôlée) and offers some of the finest wines in the Bordeaux region.

Bergerac-Roumanière airport (code EGC) is only an hour away and it is served by internal flights, and routes to UK airports including Southampton, Bristol, Manchester, East Midlands, Luton, Edinburgh, Exeter, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds-Bradford and London Stansted Airport. Transavia also flies to Bergerac from Rotterdam. Car hire can be arranged at Bergerac airport before your arrival.
Bergerac also has a rail station with regular services to Bordeaux and Sarlat-la-Canéda.

Weekly bookings run from Friday to Friday and the farmhouse is available from 3pm on first day until 10am on the day of leaving.
Midweek and weekend breaks can be taken throughout the year, subject to availability:

3 nights weekend breaks from Friday to Monday
